Michael lives in Arundel, where he chairs the board of the Victoria Institute, the local arts and community centre. He has long experience as a Labour Councillor before moving to Sussex eight
years ago.
A supporter of the South Downs National Park and keen walker and photographer, Michael walks in the local countryside most days.
“As your county councillor, I will support:
- New policies for waste disposal – maximum recycling, no new incinerators
- Action to address the climate emergency
- Active travel and better public transport rather than road building
- More affordable housing, while protecting nature and the countryside
- Community Wealth Building – make council spending support local jobs
I will work closely with Arundel and Littlehampton Town Councils, and run regular advice sessions in both communities.”
